Re: Inventory Software
Hi Keri, we have been using an access based program developed in
Colorado LTAP a number of years ago an since upgraded. It works well for
our basic needs which you mention in your request and it is easy to
write additional query's if non standard reports are necessary. We
originally worked with Ron Hall's office in the Colorado TTAP to
purchase the software and assist in the upgrades. You might contact Ron
directly regarding their maintenance of the software. I think there
would be no problem getting you a copy of the base program to look at
and play with.
A down side of the software is limited documentation and in our case no
documentation of the changes to the base program, some minor such as
putting our name and logo on the headers and some more critical in terms
of the organization of the library and other databases within the system.
