New AASHTO publications for LTAP/TTAP Centers to be release soon.

Dear LTAP’ers & TTAP’ers,

I have just received notice that two new publications will be made available within the next couple weeks. These publications are listed as follows:

Bridge Welding Code: AASHTO/AWS-DI.5M/DI.5:2002, An American National Standard, 2005 Interim
Code: BWC-4-I2 Members:$60 Non Members $72
This packet features the 2003 interim revisions to the 2002 edition of ANSI/AASHTO/AWS Bridge Welding Code (BWC-4). Both the interim and the 2002 edition are needed for up-to-date information. 29 pp., plus cover.

Standard Specifications for Transportation Materials and Methods of Sampling and Testing, 25th Edition, CD-ROM
Code: HM-25-CD Members: $675 Non-members: $780
The CD-ROM includes all the information found in the book edition as well as the 41 provisional standards found in AASHTO Provisional Standards, 2005 Edition. The CD-ROM provides the following functions:

Navigation and tool bar;
        Book marked subject and numerical table of contents;
        Hyperlinked index;
        Full-text search, and
        Quick help

Please note the latter publication is in CD-ROM form due to the size of publication. You will receive a T2all email from me when the 30 day window to order your free copy begins. All you will have to do is indicate "LTAP" and you will be eligible for your 1 review copy.

This is a tremendous gift from our partnership with AASHTO. We need to do every thing we can to hold up our side of the partnership. As the LTAPP/TTAP liaison to AASHTO I need to apprise them of all we are doing collectively and individually to support AASHTO initiatives and programs. As a gentle reminder please, complete the spreadsheet that I sent each Center to show what you are doing in promoting the AASHTO TIG technologies. Please email me your response by Sept 2, 2005.
