Re: K-12 Introduction to Engineering

The Minnesota Local Road Research Board's Research Implementation
Committee funded a wonderful product which is geared toward Juniors and
Seniors in High School. It is called 'Toolkit for a Career in Civil
Engineering', report number 2004-18. You can download everything but the
video at:
http://www.lrrb.org/CE_Toolkit/

I have also attached a write up that was used as a cover story for our
website. Thanks,

The Florida center is looking into developing programs for introducing
engineering as a career to K-12. Has anyone developed any programs we
could look at, or can anyone share their knowledge of existing or past
programs to explore?

Thanks!
