DURATION OF SPRING-THAW RECOVERY FOR AGGREGATE-SURFACED ROADS

The Minnesota Local Road Research Board has released a report that
indicates that aggregate-surfaced roads generally require one to three
additional weeks beyond that of flexible pavements to reach recovered
bearing capacity during the spring-thaw period.
