The Director of Public Works will be responsible for the daily operation of the Department including the maintenance and repair of roads, bridges, and right-of-ways, fleet management, the operation of the transfer station/recycling center, the maintenance and repair of the sewer collection system, water treatment and distribution system, and budget preparation for all divisions. The successful candidate will oversee a department of approximately 23 full time employees, must work well with the public, be a team player, and have excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering is preferred.  Prior experience in this field or commensurate abilities desirable. Excellent Benefits; Salary DOQ.
